We’re a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law creative duo from the San Francisco Bay Area. You read right. Cher married Faye’s son, Johnny. They had a magical Hawaiian destination wedding on Oahu’s enchanting North Shore. We made all the decorations for that wedding and before we knew it Hella Aloha was born.
We design, create, curate, and decorate. Our style is distinctively modern tropical boho (modtropboho for short). It’s perfectly wild wabi-sabi. Hella Aloha is the perfect mix of California cool and Hawaii’s breathtakingly beautiful landscapes.

I’m passionate about solving problems and creating beautiful things.
I love the holidays, toffee nut syrup in my coffee, and learning something new. I have a bad case of wanderlust and I'm inexplicably drawn to the beach. Baby animals make me melt, red gummies have a special place in my heart, and the smell of apples makes me happy. I bleed scarlet and gold, prefer pens with purple ink, and believe little good deeds add up over a lifetime.
In the end, I want to be someone who gave more than she took.

Aloha! My passion is to create "Wow". I’ve always been a visual person and I love being hands-on in creating something beautiful and magical. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, paying close attention to every detail--from the placement of “randomly” scattered lava rocks to the angle of every last Phalaenopsis branch.
I want to take the ideas you’ve envisioned for so long and make them happen. My heart skips a beat everytime a vision in my head begins to exist in real life. I live for that moment when a project is finally done and I get to see everyone’s reaction--the awe, big smiles, and of course high fives. It’s the best!
